Here it is, January already.  Fishing has been a lot of fun this past month and seeing our guests/friends return to Lakeroad Lodge for another year is such a great joy for us.    We just moved our houses out to 32 feet of water where folks have been catching their limits of Walleye and Sauger along with some nice Jumbo Perch.  There has been an early morning bite that is pretty good for picking up your Walleye's in 16 to 18 feet of water for about an hour, then packing up and moving out deep for the days catch.  Check out our photo gallery for some awesome photo's of fish caught over the past month as Ben and Jackie Nelson are displaying just a few, sorry Jackie, I couldn't resist.
